Jelle Duijn joined Milberg Amsterdam on 1 April 2026. He is an experienced litigator with a strong background in complex civil and administrative disputes, including collective actions and regulated markets.
Before joining Milberg, Jelle practiced as an attorney at Franssen Tolboom Advocaten, where he he handled a broad civil law practice with a focus on media and entertainment law. He acted in disputes involving copyright, unlawful publications, contractual claims and tenancy matters, advised international online gambling providers and represented clients in litigation concerning gambling law. His work included both collective actions and individual proceedings brought by consumers.
Earlier in his career, Jelle worked at ConsumentenClaim, where he was closely involved in the development and selection of new collective claims. He contributed to the initiation of high‑profile mass damage proceedings, including claims against telecom providers regarding so‑called ‘free’ mobile phones and actions against insurers relating to unit‑linked insurance products (woekerpolissen).
Jelle’s experience combines hands‑on litigation practice with strategic insight into collective actions and consumer protection. At Milberg Amsterdam, he focuses on complex disputes and mass claims.
